Day 211: Cubbies

Something I’ve always wanted in the home I raise my children in are little cubbies to put all of our stuff when we come home.  A place that is okay if it’s a little messy, since we do actually live in our house, but a place that will contain the mess for me.  I couldn’t believe that our house already has them installed.  The kids think they are so fun to play in, and play peek – a – boo around the corners of it.

Taken without my speedlight, in a dark hallway that faces into one of the darkest rooms in the house, my office (there’s a tree outside my window).

With my speedlight bounced in my office (not sure where exactly, maybe the window).DSC_9028_wm_edit

And all three kids having a blast.  I love that they will all grow up together and I especially love that Charlotte and Maile yell each other’s names, run to each other and hug every.single.time they see each other.  It’s straight out of a movie!DSC_9031_edit_wm

Day 210: My commute

One of the best perks of my new job is my Eco Pass.  I drive 10 min, park my car, walk 3 min to the train, sit on a train for 35 min and read a book/relax/sleep, and then walk 5 min to work.  It’s like having an entire hour everyday to myself!  I am so much less stressed when I walk in the door because I don’t have to deal with traffic.  Plus I don’t have to fill up my tank for about 3 weeks!

I’m thinking of getting a new smaller laptop so I can spend the time on the train blogging, so my evenings are free.  In the meantime, if I didn’t have my Eco Pass I wouldn’t be able to enjoy one of my other hobbies – reading.  Love it.DSC_9024_edit_wm

Day 209: Pillow Case Sleeping Bag

Cosleeping with Cooper again has been really interesting.  He talks in his sleep and laughs a lot.  Sometimes he cries.  He loves to cuddle, or just sleep on top of me.  He moves a LOT.  He also likes sleeping inside his pillow case, like a sleeping bag.  (And for anyone wanting to know what a speedlight does…this was taken in a completely dark room at 10 pm at night with my speedlight bounced off a white wall.)DSC_9011_edit_wm

Day 208: Sleepy bathtime

We attempted to change the kids schedules to an 8 pm bedtime (which was not really a change in time for them since we went from CA time to CO time).  However it has resulted in some very tired kiddos.  It probably didn’t help that they didn’t have all of their own stuff and our weekly routine no longer existed.DSC_9009_wm
