Day 35: Bath Crayons

The kids haven’t been enjoying bathtime as well lately, so I bought some new toys.  Since it wasn’t my bath night, I could snap photos of them playing with the bath crayons.  The only pain in the butt thing is that the crayons sort of drip all over after they get wet and make a mess of the grout and tub.

Choosing their crayon.  I like how Charlotte is pointing at the orange crayon.  (I hate renting…everything is so old!  Look at the rust on the shower track!  I don’t even notice until I see it in my photos.)DSC_0016_edit_wm

Here is Cooper getting a new crayon – the pink/purple (his favorite color).  I like this one because it shows a lot of my husband’s hands too. DSC_0017_edit_wm

Starting out.  She is concentrating so hard!  DSC_0011_edit_wm

And then she didn’t want the orange crayon anymore.  Or the blue one, green one, yellow one, purple one, or red one.  We didn’t have any other colors and she got upset.

While Cooper was as content as could be with his pink/purple crayon.

Day 34: Yummy spaghetti

We had spaghetti for dinner tonight and they both chowed down.  I couldn’t really get them to look at me tonight, so I feel a bit disconnected from the photos.  These are the best I got out of the 15 or so that I took.

Day 33: Bye Mommy!

Sometimes if I sleep through my alarm or if the kids wake my husband up a little early, I get to visit a bit with them before I leave for work.  I love to start my day with their smiling faces.  I especially love that they make a big production out of saying bye to me.  They give lots of hugs and kisses and then wave and say bye.  Sometimes I even get a kiss blown to me (to say I love you) and a ‘tea-tater’ to say ‘see you later.’

This is what I see from the front door when I get in my car.  (We rent our house and don’t have a screen door, plus we live on a busy street.  A baby gate works quite well to keep the kids and dog safe.)

Version 2 B&W (I think I like this one a little better).DSC_0006_edit_chocbw_wm

I turned this black and white because the lamp inside the house combined with no flash and early morning dawn, caused a weird orange glow (and a lot of noise in the photo).  I sort of like it, but it almost takes away from their beautiful faces:DSC_0006_edit_wm

Day 32: Hi Grandpa!

We live out of state from family.  My dad sends the kids youtube videos of himself and the kids LOVE them.  They beg for ‘grandpa’ everyday and point to the laptop computer over and over.  I’m convinced they think the laptop’s name is Grandpa.  They interact quite a bit with the computer now and Cooper even understands that the keyboard and mouse cause things to happen on the screen.  That simply amazes me.

(Check out my newly created watermark.  I figure it’s a good way to protect my images.  I created a few different ones, so I’ll be testing them out to see which ones I like.)

I love Cooper’s expression – like ‘Look at this momma!’ and how cute is it that Charlotte is waving to Grandpa.  (Charlotte’s shirt says, Brother for Sale - $1.00 or best offer and Cooper’s shirt says, Sister for Sale - $1.00 negotiable.)DSC_0071_edit_wm

Giving grandpa kisses.  (Like how the keys are missing from the keyboard.  Cooper got a little too curious.)DSC_0103_edit_wm
