Fire House Tour–May 2012
A local Fire House has an annual Open House, where families can tour the fire house and the kids can climb in abulances, fire trucks, police cars, and see wrecked cars. They also get their faces painted. Cooper was THRILLED. I don’t think Charlotte felt good because she refused to do anything and stood by daddy all day. She LOVES fire trucks, so I was confused. This post reminds me of when we went to the Fire Fighter Museum.
Hah, got it eyes closed. The sun was sooo bright. I think he has sensitive eyes like daddy because he squints with nearly eyes closed in very bright sun.
And this was what Charlotte looked like all day. She did get her arm painted with a basketball though.

Duck Pond–may 2012
There is a local park that has a pond, a water park area, field hockey arena, soccer fields, a few playgrounds, and a little hiking trail/tree house area. The kids love this park. Here are some long lost photos from May 2012.
The kids have always loved duck ponds…these photos remind me of this and this.

Weekend Starbucks
On the weekends I take the kids to either Starbucks in the morning, or frozen yogurt in the afternoon. They always look so grown up when they get hot chocolate.
Several weeks ago I also took them to Golden when I had some volunteer work to do. This was not too long after the major flooding in Colorado, so the creek was really high. Charlotte had to use the bathroom, so I didn’t get much time to snap photos.

Long Lost Photos–May 2012
I have ignored this blog for so long, I haven’t posted photos since May 2012. So here is one from that month…I need to do some editing on the others.
Someone got into the markers.

Halloween 2013
Cooper is absolutely obsessed with Mario Bros. He quickly chose Mario. I absolutely adore that Charlotte doesn’t choose any of the typical girl costumes, because I kind of have a huge beef with Disney princesses. There are SO many other things I can encourage my daughter to be and looking up to a Disney princess is not one of those things I will every encourage. Charlotte makes it easy on me.
Charlotte is way more into posing than Cooper these days. Most of the time Cooper rolls his eyes and me and says, ‘Seriously??!?’.
I haven’t picked up my camera much lately and I am experimenting with editing again to find my style. Not sure what feels right…none of these quite yet. I also really need to calibrate my monitors since I’m not longer on my laptop.
And our pumpkins…I can’t wait until they can carve their own! At least they help with the guts. (Minion-mine; Mario-Cooper; Boba Fett-my husband; Cat-Charlotte)
