Fun Edits – Swirling

Fun edits in Photoshop.  I used flowers and a butterfly, but you could probably use anything.  I love the first two, but thought I would show the rest.  I haven’t figured out which types of photos make really great swirls.

Here are the originals that I cropped to 4 x 4.  Then I did:  Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates > Polar to Rectangular.  Then Image > Rotate > 180.  Then Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates > Rectantular to Polar.   You don’t have to crop to a square…the oval from a rectangular crop also looks really great.
